Who is behind Seven Summit Bookkeeping?

My experience in bookkeeping and accounting began early.

At 16, I was preparing invoices and recording payments for a local butcher shop on the Eyre Peninsula. At the same time, I spent my weekends counting cash and balancing registers and self-serve tills at Kmart before the store even opened for the day.

At 18, I commenced my first full-time role in a rural accounting firm, where I began to recognise a clear pattern in the types of roles I genuinely enjoyed. I found satisfaction in working with financial information, creating structure and supporting business owners behind the scenes.

Fast forward to today, I have completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and am now working towards my Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Throughout my career, I have gained hands-on experience supporting a variety of industries, including:

  • preparing and lodging activity statements

  • assisting with payroll and superannuation obligations

  • maintaining accurate financial records

  • supporting clients with their ATO compliance requirements

  • managing deadlines across multiple client accounts

Over time, I realised I wanted to be more involved in supporting clients beyond simply completing tasks. I wanted to help provide clarity around the financial side of a business and support them with the responsibilities that often fall behind when time is limited.

I understand that most business owners started their business because they are passionate about what they do — and spending hours on bookkeeping and compliance may not be where they want to focus their energy.

Seven Summit Bookkeeping was created to provide reliable, consistent support so business owners can focus on running and growing their business with confidence.

I am a Registered BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board and a member of professional associations including the Australian Bookkeepers Network.
